Service delivery

Who does what when a real incident happens?

Define the partner, customer and SOC responsibilities before the first escalation.

Agree on the operating boundary

The SOC workflow develops evidence, assesses activity and produces a verdict with recommended actions. The partner owns the customer relationship and normally leads communication and remediation coordination. An optional CYREBRO human SOC team can contribute investigation and escalation support within the selected service model.

Define response authority

Document who can isolate a device, suspend an identity, change a firewall rule or interrupt a business service. Clarify which actions can be automated, which require partner approval, and which require the customer’s explicit decision. Test after-hours contacts and the route to an authorized decision-maker.

Close the loop with evidence

A response recommendation is not the same as completed remediation. Record the action taken, who confirmed it, the validation results and the final incident timeline. Where the customer performs remediation, that confirmation is part of the closure process.

Prepare before an incident

Keep an up-to-date system inventory, contact list, escalation criteria and evidence-preservation method. Rehearse a representative incident during onboarding. A clear agreement about responsibilities makes an automated investigation useful when the incident becomes real.
